The organiser:

Groenten zonder Grenzen (‘Veggies without borders’) is an initiative that collects leftover food from the Blaak market to cook free, healthy and sustainable meals.

They want to raise awareness around food waste, sustainable eating and the importance of social inclusion – welcoming everyone regardless of age, background, or beliefs.

It is entirely run by volunteers: the beating heart of GZG is a group of people who would like to give something back to the city and the planet.
